Access to project resources
The LALORC project will post its results on-line through the
Digitial Library for International Reseasrch (DLIR). LALORC's bibliographic information will be made
available through DLIR's union catalog ,
and LALORC's other digital products will be added to the array of digital resources on
DLIR's website.
While we prepare information produced by the LALORC project for full public access, here is a sample
of the data collected by LALORC local projects that is currently being processed.
West Africa
E-books
in West African languages--new titles in Bamanankan, Criol, Fula/Peul/Pular,
Fulfulde, Jula/Dyula, and Moore have recently been added. Coverage of the ALMA E-books now
extends across West Africa to include the languages of eight countries:
Senegal, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Niger, Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, and
Cape Verde. The E-Books are already available on DLIR through the link above; the metadata
is in the queue for processing
North Africa and the Middle East
Interim documentation on resources at the Hasna
Daoud Library (Tetouan, Morocco). Access is restricted to project staff.
Research documentation on
the cultural heritage of Yemen: The Tarim Project (Tarim, Hadhramawt governorate, Yemen).
